There’s nothing quite like celebrating the 4th of July in Hawaii. Spend the day at the beach light up the grill, throw down the picnic blanket, and get ready for the fireworks show!

The traditional Hawaii potluck style is to bring a favorite dish to share, here are our Elite agent’s favorite 4th of July recipes:
Donna Rice’s recipe for Grilled Corn on the Cob: Pull down the husks but do not remove, clean off silk strands or start with a cleaned corn on the cob. Make a butter sauce with lime, pepper, salt and Old Bay Seasoning brush on cobbs. Fold up husks and tie with string or use tin foil to cover the corn. Put over a hot grill or throw on to hot coals in a fire, turn every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. Done and enjoy.
Marketing Manager, Margot Stewart’s Broccoli Bacon Cheddar Salad: Broccoli florets, chopped purple onion, crumbled bacon, shredded sharp cheddar cheese...dressing is mayo, apple cider vinegar, and sugar to taste, enough to coat to your preference. Refrigerate covered overnight (or at least four hours ahead of time) stir, recover. Stir one more time before serving.
