According to the Elite Pacific ohana, these are the best fine dining restaurants on the Big Island. Did your favorite make the list?

Pueo's Osteria

"Pueo's Osteria is a hidden gem in Waikoloa that has the best Italian food. They feature delicious homemade pasta and gnocchi. They use local ingredients to make artisan dishes. Highly recommended!" - Ellen DesJardins

Redwater Cafe, Waimea

"In Waimea Town, Red Water Cafe is a fine dining experience. The fresh fish and beef rivals the Manta. No views of the ocean, but the service is impeccable and the food divine!" - Diana Mahaney

Hilo Bay Cafe

"Hilo Bay Cafe has amazing food and drinks and a beautiful view of Hilo Bay. Some of my favorite offerings include: Pupus - beef carpaccio, ahi poke; drinks - lavender lychee Lemondrop, apricot smash with muddled basil, and awa'puhi with ocean vodka & lilikoi (all of which are no longer on the menu, but that you can still request). All of their entree items are delicious and their french onion soup is the best on island. HBC is soon to be one of your favorites!" - Ellen DesJardins

"Manta has great food and offers champagne to guests at sunset... at least for now while they are fairly new. The setting at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is elegant and gorgeous." - Karen Bail

"I have lived in the Waimea/Hamakua areas on the Big Island for 20 years and have seen a huge, high quality shift in the direction of farming, cheese making, handmade breads and pastries, fresh island beef, pork, chicken, every kind of local ingredient one could want to live a healthy and gourmet lifestyle! Also, our 6 Farmer's Markets a week in Waimea are a great place for freshly made, farm to table ethnic foods or fresh, good quality produce, Big Island cheese, meats and fish." - Rebecca Keliihoomalu
