Congratulations to Elite Pacific Partner, Platinum Circle 2020 recipient, and Senior Advisor Debbie Arakaki, R(B), CRS, for being featured in the RRC Spotlight for April 2020.

Debbie's Journey

Debbie has conquered Real Estate for over 14 years, and prior to Real Estate, she started out in the restaurant management and development industry.

As an aspiring philanthropistDebbie was able to leverage her business connections from that industry to conduct annual and bi-annual fundraisers for the Māui Food Bank. Since Debbie has joined Real Estate, she has been a local community leader. She's raised over $100k for many low-income and food-insecure students under the "Backpack Buddies" program. The program sends children home with a backpack full of food staples they can eat over the weekend. Debbie's incredible efforts accumulated enough money to take care of every student at every school on the western side of Māui for one year.

Debbie attributes her noteworthy success and career advancement to the Residential Real Estate Council and the CRS designation. Both of which have undoubtedly helped her gain profitable referrals that have allowed her to give back to her community.

We are excited to announce that the Residential Real Estate Council is now accepting recognition submissions for a quarterly spotlight, Women Changing Real Estate. Forbes.com is reporting that the Real Estate Industry is transforming and women are leading the pack at almost a 2:1 ratio. In retrospect, this is a huge milestone since the first woman joined the National Association of Realtors (NAR) in 1910. To commemorate this milestone, The Residential Real Estate Council will recognize a Woman leader whom transformed their career and positively impacted the Real Estate Industry. Each quarter, the recognized individual will receive public recognition, prestige, and professional testimonial to add to their portfolio.
